Louise has photographed more horses than you’ve had hot dinners. This workshop should be fabulous. She will be looking at concentrating on the connections people have with their subject, in her case horses, but the same principles can be applied to most portrait work regardless of subject. She will start the advanced sessions talking in more depth about gear, moving on to communication (with their subject), safety and working with animals. She will then cover seeing the light, location, camera settings, depth of field, composition, basic posing etc. And of course you’ll get plenty of opportunities to photograph the horse and owner.
